Privacy & Confidentiality

  1. All discussions in psychotherapy through ADADSU are confidential, although there may be some legal exceptions that will be explained at your first meeting.
  2. We abide by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s published code of professional ethics.
  3. All client records are protected by the Data Protection Act and no client information is shared with any third party. Exceptions to this policy may occur only where necessary to protect the safety of clients or others.
  4. We will not contact clients on any telephone number or at any address if explicitly asked not to.
  5. No information is gathered through the use or operation of this website that can identify visitors to the site.
  6. Any concerns regarding privacy or confidentiality, or any comments regarding our psychotherapy services, should be submitted to the director by email at lara@adadsu.com.
